Jorge Lawerta: A brilliant illustrator.
And when it did it surprised us by how fast 3 months go by.
We were surprised by his sense of humor, his love for debate and by how easily he fit in this diverse and agile team. We were even more surprised by his skills and his talent as illustrator.
Jorge will one day look back and see his designs from the NYC "period" with nostalgia I am sure.He did a lot fo them, including some for a show for a TV network in Spain directed by Martin Rosete and several internal projects (soon to be shared with the world)
We miss him already.
He left us a note about his experience with Globalworks:
One is not conscious of what one has until is gone. Each morning you go to work to the same place, with the same people, without noticing the richness of their backgrounds, their cultures abd their language. Cultures so distant yet similar.
Amongst all the briefings, changes and deliverables you get distracted but never allow it to get in the way of learning and enjoying to the utmost.
I just hope that it was a similar experience for everyone.

"Uno no es consciente de lo que tiene hasta que lo pierde. Cuando vas cada mañana a trabajar al mismo sitio y ves a la misma gente no te das cuenta de lo que te enriquece estar al lado de personas con perfiles tan diferentes, con nacionalidades, idiomas y culturas tan lejanas y similares al mismo tiempo. Ese trasiego de briefings, cambios y entregas te distrae, te aleja pero no evita que aprendas te diviertas y disfrutes como el que más.
